We are looking for a Senior DevOps Platform Engineer with deep expertise in CI/CD, automation and platform engineering, with a strong interest in applying AI-assisted automation to improve development productivity, reliability and speed of delivery. Senior Platform Engineer (DevOps & AI Enabling) (f/m/d) Heerbrugg 80-100% This appeals to you CI/CD platform engineering: Design, build and maintain a platform with a strong focus on abstraction and self-service capabilities for development teams Local/on-prem LLM hosting & AI gateway management: Operate self-hosted LLM infrastructure, including cost tracking, rate limiting and usage observability to enable scalable AI access across development teams Intelligent CI/CD pipeline optimisation: Apply AI-driven techniques including impact analysis and dynamic resource scheduling to reduce feedback cycle times, infrastructure cost and deliver pipelines at scale AIOps & autonomous incident response: Leverage AI on operational data to move from reactive firefighting to predictive, automated operations Technology strategy: Strategically select and adopt state-of-the-art technologies to continuously evolve the platform engineering stack DevSecOps integration: Embed security and compliance processes directly into CI/CD workflows to ensure delivery pipelines meet organisational and regulatory requirements DevOps enablement & mentoring: Share best practices and coach engineers across the organisation to raise overall DevOps maturity and capability This is you Significant software development experience favourably in Python, Kotlin, C# or C++ Extensive knowledge of CI/CD Systems preferably in TeamCity or GitHub Actions Practical expertise operating and integrating AI infrastructure with a proven ability to identify high-value use cases and translate them into measurable efficiency gains for development teams Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible, Packer) and containerized environments (Docker) An entrepreneurial, improvement and result driven mindset with a strong commitment towards ownership Motivation and drive to shape, complemented by a competent, fact-based representation of concepts and ideas Basic understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) We offer you Flexible annual working hours based on a 40-hour week, with 100% employment Vacation entitlement: 25 days from the age of 20, 27 days from the age of 40 and 30 days from the age of 50 Hybrid working model Bonus system and extra-mandatory pension fund contributions Individual training opportunities (internal and external) Relocation service Various discounts (Health, Car, Entertainment and much more) Employee events Flat hierarchy structure Warm and international corporate culture based on respect and cooperation Here you can find more information about us as an employer.
