🚀 Hiring : Observability & SRE Engineer
We are currently looking for an experienced Observability & SRE Engineer to join an exciting project.
📍 Location: Germany - Remote
📄 Contract: 1-Year Fixed-Term Contract
Candidates must be willing and eligible to complete the required security clearance and vetting before joining:
- Public Sector Clearance
- NdK (Nachweis der Kundigkeit) / Platform Telemetry Vetting
⭐ Candidates with previous Public Sector experience will be highly preferred.
Role Overview
As an Observability & SRE Engineer, you will build and operate central telemetry stacks to provide comprehensive visibility across distributed cloud infrastructure.
You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining:
- Metric collection
- Log aggregation
- Distributed tracing
- Standalone alerting solutions
The role will involve designing and operating observability solutions specifically tailored for Air-Gap environments and autonomous operations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitoring Stack Setup
- Deploy and maintain Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, and Jaeger stacks using Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
Dashboards & Alerting
- Develop and maintain monitoring dashboards using PromQL and LogQL.
- Configure AlertManager routing and inhibition for autonomous Air-Gap operations.
Distributed Tracing
- Implement OpenTelemetry Collectors and SDKs.
- Support auto-instrumentation and OTLP trace propagation.
- Work with Jaeger for distributed tracing and observability.
SIEM Integration
- Configure secure log exports and security event management integrations.
- Work with CEF and Syslog formats for external SIEM platforms.
