About the job
1. About Our Client: The organization operates in the connected TV (CTV) advertising space, focusing on performance marketing. It addresses challenges in automating and optimizing TV advertising by integrating media buying, optimization, measurement, and attribution into a single platform. The platform is developed by experts with extensive backgrounds in programmatic advertising, digital media, and ad verification, offering a trusted solution for advertisers aiming to grow their business through data-driven TV advertising.
2. About the Opportunity: The ML Platform Engineer will join a team focused on site reliability engineering and low-latency distributed systems that support real-time machine learning and measurement infrastructure. This role is critical for maintaining high-speed, reliable decision-making systems, enabling efficient data access and integration with core technology stacks. The position plays a key role in designing and improving foundational systems for training and serving machine learning models, ensuring stability and observability across services and regions.
3. Responsibilities:
Scale decision-making tools covering workflows, training infrastructure, and Kubernetes deployments
Enhance the developer experience for the data science team
Upgrade observability tools
Ensure smooth deployments as infrastructure evolves
4. Requirements:
Deep understanding of Linux
Strong writing skills
Systems-oriented mindset
Experience with high-performance software such as real-time bidding or high-frequency trading
Software engineering and reliability expertise, including CI/CD
Strong instincts for observability
Proven ability to use AI to improve speed and quality in workflows
Experience critically evaluating and verifying AI-assisted work through testing, source-checking, data validation, or peer review
High integrity and ownership, including protecting sensitive data and accountability for final outputs
Nice-to-Haves:
Reverse-engineering experience
Experience with Terraform, EKS, or MLOps
Programming experience in Python, Scala, or Zig
NixOS experience
Background in adtech or CTV
Experience deploying distributed systems across multiple clouds
Experience in hard real-time, low-latency environments
5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:
$123,696—$254,667 USD base salary range
Position is eligible for equity
Final salary depends on location, experience, skills, and other factors
