IT System Architect

About the job A globally operating, Swiss-based company in the industrial manufacturing sector is looking for a Cloud Architect to join their team. With around 600 employees worldwide, the company has a family-owned structure and a culture built on trust, personal responsibility, and collaborative teamwork. Your tasks Development and implementation of a scalable, secure, and efficient cloud architecture based on the Azure platform, including collaboration with external partners Advising IT leadership and stakeholders on cloud strategy and ensuring cloud architectures align with business objectives Performing comprehensive analysis of systems, processes, structures, data, and user interfaces to ensure optimal platform deployment Ensuring knowledge transfer to developed systems to support the sustainability and continuous improvement of the platform Your profile University or technical college degree in computer science or a comparable discipline Ability to analyse, design, and technically specify processes At least 5 years of experience in IT architecture, including at least 3 years with Microsoft Azure Knowledge of network security and identity and access management in the cloud In-depth knowledge of Azure services (e.g. Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure SQL Database, Azure DevOps) Experience in IT project management of medium to large projects Very good German and English language skills (written and spoken) What They offer A challenging and varied role within a motivated team, built on a foundation of trust, openness, and mutual respect.
