About this role
The candidate will design and build a new frontend for a proprietary platform within the betting and gaming industry. The role involves genuine architectural ownership and writing clean, scalable code while setting team standards. You will work closely with Designers, Testers, PMs, and Product Owners in an Agile/Scrum environment. The position also includes mentoring junior developers as the team grows. The project is a greenfield web application being built from the ground up.

The opportunity
One of the world's biggest names in betting and gaming has just gone live on its own proprietary platform — and is now building a brand-new team to take it further. Join early, help shape a greenfield web app from the ground up, and have real influence over the architecture from day one.
What you'll do
- Design and build a new frontend, with genuine architectural ownership
- Write clean, scalable code and help set the standards for the team
- Work closely with Designers, Testers, PMs and Product Owners
- Mentor junior developers as the team grows
- Contribute to Agile/Scrum delivery, code reviews and technical documentation
What you'll bring
- Strong commercial experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript (ES2015+) and React
- Node.js middleware experience
- Webpack (or similar build tooling) and Sass(Syntactically Awesome Style Sheets)
- Git and Agile experience
- A solid grasp of software architecture and design principles
- Bonus points: .NET experience, testing frameworks, gaming industry background
