Systems Engineer
We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
Build and lead operations and development teams for high-availability AWS services.
Oversee the launch of the European Sovereign Cloud (ESC) in 2025.
Collaborate with technology leaders to enhance day-to-day operations.
Ensure improvements in availability, reliability, latency, performance, and efficiency of the ESC.
Participate in on-call rotations to resolve incidents out-of-hours.
Deliver scalable services and ensure a high-availability experience for EU customers.
What You'll Need
National of an EU member state and residing in the EU.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent industry experience.
Knowledge or experience in scripting (Bash, Python, or Ruby) or software development (Java, TypeScript).
Strong understanding of Linux and networking fundamentals.
Fluency in written and spoken English.
Experience operating 24x7 high-availability, distributed software applications.
