About the job Our client, a leading global biotechnology organization advancing AI governance and responsible machine learning practices, is seeking a Senior MLOps Solutions Architect to help drive the technical implementation of its enterprise Responsible AI Framework. In this high-impact consulting role, you will design and document reference architectures for ML pipelines, model monitoring, observability, and continuous improvement workflows across Databricks, Snowflake, and Azure AI environments. The ideal candidate brings deep hands-on MLOps expertise, strong technical documentation skills, and experience translating governance requirements into practical implementation guidance, with exposure to regulated industries and AI compliance frameworks viewed as a plus. This is a remote engagement that offers the opportunity to shape enterprise-scale AI governance initiatives. Key Responsibilities Development, Change Management & Traceability Author technical reference examples for the Databricks model registry, including versioning and lifecycle management Document branch protection rules and automated testing hooks for ML pipeline governance Provide implementation guidance on pull request workflows and peer review requirements within Databricks and GitHub Monitoring & Performance Implementation Draft technical implementation examples for Databricks Lakehouse Monitoring and LangSmith tracing Define appropriate model monitoring elements and statistical threshold configurations Document integration approaches for alternative observability tools beyond the primary Databricks stack Continuous Improvement Outline technical execution of retraining pipelines and version rollback processes Document implementation differences across deployment styles: SaaS, custom-built, Model-as-a-Service, and BOT-built solutions Gap Analysis & Platform Documentation Evaluate existing control documentation gaps across Copilot Studio, SIMCA, and Snowflake Identify technical remediation opportunities aligned with NIST AI RMF 1.0 requirements Required Qualifications Hands-on experience designing and building machine learning pipelines in enterprise environments Deep expertise with Databricks, including model registry, Lakehouse Monitoring, and MLflow Experience with Snowflake and Azure AI for ML workload deployment and management Familiarity with LangSmith or equivalent LLM observability and tracing tools Strong technical documentation skills; ability to translate complex implementations into clear reference guides Preferred Qualifications Experience working in regulated industries such as pharma, biotech, or financial services Knowledge of Copilot Studio and SIMCA platforms Understanding of AI governance frameworks and how MLOps practices support compliance objectives Familiarity with GAMP 5 or GxP validation in the context of software and ML systems Job ID: 7538
