About the Opportunity: The AWS Cloud Engineer role is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining large-scale, secure, and highly available cloud platforms on Amazon Web Services. This position plays a critical role in ensuring resilient, cloud-native solutions that support the organization’s business growth and operational demands. 3. Responsibilities: • Architect, deploy, and operate enterprise-grade AWS environments with attention to scalability, reliability, and security. • Develop and maintain infrastructure-as-code using tools such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. • Design multi-account AWS organizations including landing zones and security policies. • Build secure VPC topologies with appropriate connectivity and isolation. • Implement IAM strategies to enforce least-privilege access. • Deploy and manage Amazon EKS clusters and other container services. • Operate AWS managed data and analytics services optimized for workload requirements. • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and applications. • Implement observability solutions with monitoring, alerting, and dashboards. • Conduct ongoing cost optimization and track savings. • Develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans. • Enhance security posture using AWS security tools and lead remediation efforts. • Provide guidance on AWS design patterns and service selection to development teams. • Develop automation scripts and operational tooling. • Mentor junior engineers and lead architecture reviews. 4. Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. • Minimum of five years in cloud engineering, with at least three years focused on AWS in production. • Hands-on experience with core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3. 5. Pay Range and Compensation Package: • Salary range: 100,000 to 150,000 USD annually. • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience, plus benefits.
